Date for Astronomy night viewing extra credit lab will be confirmed the week we return from break. Possible nights include Monday, 4/23 and Wednesday, 4/25.

HW: Read textbook pages 753-767 and do #1-6 on pg. 757 and #1-6 on pg. 767 for Wed (per 3) and Thurs (Per 1, 5, 7)

 DDN: Why does the moon appear to have phases? Differentiate between sidereal and synodic month.

*Dress warmly…it will be windy!
*If you have a Smart mobile device, bring it! The apps we discussed in class are: Google Sky Map for Android and Skyview Free, Star Map Lite (both free) and Star Walk ($2.99) for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch. You do NOT need s Smart mobile device to participate…just come as you are!
*Please bring binoculars and/or a flashlight if you have them.
 
CHECK BACK AN HOUR OR TWO BEFORE 9PM TONIGHT…IF THE WEATHER TURNS CLOUDY WE WILL HAVE TO RESCHEDULE!
