SKY WATCHING TONIGHT IS CANCELLED DUE TO CLOUDS!
Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately the forecast called for a 50% of cloud cover, and it looks like we are going to lose! Ms. Burt and I checked the CT cloud cover site, and it is calling for very poor visibility. You can check it yourself here http://cleardarksky.com/c/CSPCTkey.html. We will have to reschedule our viewing session. We will discuss this more in class….
NIGHT VIEWING LAB IS SCHEDULED FOR TONIGHT! (MONDAY, 4/9)
Please meet to tonight in front of Amity High School at 9pm.
*Dress warmly…it will be windy!
*If you have a Smart mobile device, bring it! The apps we discussed in class are: Google Sky Map for Android and Skyview Free, Star Map Lite (both free) and Star Walk ($2.99) for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch. You do NOT need s Smart mobile device to participate…just come as you are!
*Please bring binoculars and/or a flashlight if you have them.
